Two more fixtures confirmed

The old saying goes that you can wait all day for a bus and then two come along at once.

Well, that is certainly what has happened to Rosaneri Cricket Club. Following a miserable summer of lost fixtures and lack of opponents we are now in the magnificent position of adding two new fixtures to the list. That is it now on the fixture work for this season and we basically have 3 matches left to bring the curtain down on a brilliant summer of cricketing action.

Saturday the 22nd of September sees Rosaneri take on Botany Bay in a quick return match after playing them the week before. This match will take place at our adopted home pitch of Lincoln Road, Enfield. The match will start earlier than in the peak summer as the light is now fading quickly in the evenings. We will have full use of all facilities including the electronic scoreboard and tea will be taken between innings.

The second new fixture to add to the list is against Walthamstow and will be played away at their place. This will be another experience and another adventure for the squad to play the game they love at a new and exciting venue. The match has been scheduled for Saturday the 29th of September and again will be an earlier start. This game will be the last hurrah of the season before winter announces itself and we have to wait another 7 months to step foot on a wicket.

Please make every effort to be available as a lot of work has gone into securing these fixtures and a dreaded cry off due to low numbers would be a real kick in the teeth after a successful season.
