Well what a Sunday that was!
After our top order was blown away by the Enfield opening attack our lower order rallied against the younger first and second change bowlers, exploiting the bigger gaps in the field due to our opponents having more slips than a 1980's West Indian side. CJ and Daz managed to weather the onslaught for a while and Slaps stroked a few boundaries at the end of our innings but it was Ro (64) and Mo (50*) show as they both recorded their first ever half centuries.
Then to our bowling, Mo managed to contain the destructive Enfield openers for a while and then picked up the wicket of their centurion. Slaps also bowled a nice tidy spell without any luck. Then Ro, after taking some early punishment ended up with three wickets, all taken in one over!
But in the end this week's Rosaneri Man of the Match goes to Ro Rajput who not only performed as per the above but also achieved RCC legendary status as he bowled the 5 wides to tie the game for the young Enfield twins to then scamper the single they required to win the match off of the last ball of the game.
Well play Ro but also Mo and Slaps as well.
