Vs Kimpton CC
So another up and down week for Rosaneri Cricket Club saw us lose our third game on the spin but also saw more good individual performances.
With the ball Mo bowled brilliantly against some destructive hitting and only conceded 17 runs off of his 6 overs which also included a maiden and a wicket. The rest of the bowlers suffered with the short boundary and lighting quick outfield but they kept chipping away and in the end the other six wickets were shared around.
In the field Adam took a good reaction grab at slip, whilst Stephen took an important catch to get rid of the big hitter. Sinders picked up a catch and a stumping and Taimoor threw down the stumps to create the run out after dropping a dolly of a catch. Some players do like to do things the hard way!
On the batting front Big Mike and Sal got us off to a good start with a fluury of boundaries including Salman's firest ever six for the Club. But with wickets tumbling at regular intervals it was always going to be a tough ask but Sinders and then Adam and Stephen, with a Club record equalling unbroken partnership of 74*, showed some valiant defiance.
In the end with his unbeaten top score of 35, a catch and a cheeky wicket Adam Malin is voted this week's Rosaneri CC Man of the Match.
Well played Adam!
