Vs Holtwhites Trinibis CC Sunday 3rd XI

In a low scoring thriller a few Rosaneri players put their hand up to be nominated for this weeks Man of the Match award.

Firstly with the ball Taimoor, Stephen and ET all bowled well and returned economical figures, with T also claiming his 50th wicket for the Club.

In the field Mat was diving about all over the place in his first game for three seasons and then Stephen grabbed a brilliant diving one handed catch low to his right at mid-wicket (he only catches the hard ones!).

With the bat Daz saw us home with an excellent unbeaten half century, the 25th of his Rosaneri career.

But the in play consensus was that this week's award should go to Pete Hurst for his all round performance in his first game of the season.  Pete bowled excellently, especially in his first spell and picked up his second ever RCC wicket.  Then with the bat he scored an innings steadying 27, his highest score and shared a 6th wicket stand of 78 with Daz to all but get us over the line.

Well played Pete.
