The pack close in on Mr Bell
Mr Bell remains in front but things are hotting up nicely for a grandstand finish to the inaugural Golden Fielder competition.
Jim made the big move on Monday by holding a regulation catch and making a difficult run out look easy. The 2 points gained have put him within 2 of the long time leader.
Bloater also put himself in with a chance by taking a nice catch behind the stumps off some lively pace bowling from Gareth Cox.
The best point of the day went to Paul Sindrey who pulled off a full length diving two handed catch that sealed the match. He also confidently held a caught and bowled chance, but a move for the title is surely beyond him at this late stage of the season.
The standard of fielding on Monday was very good, and at last looks to be the kind of standard we want to be setting on a regular basis.
