On a very hot day and in a game that ebbed and flowed a few Rosaneri players performed excellently and nearly saw us over the victory line.
First up was Jim who snaffled three nice wickets and nearly saw us home with the bat at the end of our innings. Ro also took three good wickets and then produced a fine knock of 18* to get us within touching distance of winning.
With the bat Big Mike scored another half century and also took good two catches in the outfield. Also with a good catch each were Mr. Bell and Rosemary.
But this weeks Man of the Match was new boy Jigar Shukla. On debut Jay took three wickets off of only three overs and then batted well in the middle order to score 37 after the top order had collapsed leaving us to 31 for 5.
Well played Jay and hopefully this is the start of a long and fruitful RCC career!
