Monday’s match is getting ever closer and Rosaneri Cricket Club are in full preparation for their debut at Southgate’s famous Walker Ground.
The opposition are a complete unknown quantity, and literally could be anything. The only intelligence we have is that they have 5 or 6 players who have played cricket at some kind of level before, and the rest of the team are in their first season.
The some kind of level is very vague and we don’t know weather we are dealing with County standard or School 2nd XI. But whatever we face, we must be ready.
The weather has been terrible all week, but the forecast at least looks favourable for Monday. Hopefully we will be able to get a full match in without the weather having the final say.
The season seems to have flown by and we must enjoy every moment we have left this season and aim to finish on a real high. Our results have been outstanding so far, and we must remain focused to continue the good work.
