BBC blunder spoils net session
The BBC weather people have lots of questions to answer as 4 dedicated Rosaneri stalwarts got soaked in what turned out to be a session strictly for the hard core.
The session started in miserable conditions and ended in a torrential downpour. In between there was some respite, but it didn't last for long.
Not only was the weather against the players, but so to was luck. Poor old Nick started the evening with The RAC starting his car after leaving his lights on all day while parked at work, but things managed to get even worse. After being drenched while practicing his beloved leg spin, he then enjoyed a drink in the bar only to discover that Coxy had driven back to Enfield with his car keys on top of his kit bag.
Being stranded at The John Warner Sports Centre rounded off a thoroughly luckless day for Nick. Surely he is due some good luck, and a five wicket haul must be on the cards for Sunday !
