Vs Botany Bay CC Friendly XI

In what turned out to be a tough loss for the 'Pinks' last Sunday a few players contributed heavily during the game and not just in the playing sense.

Firstly with the bat Ash, Dan and Adam all produced good knocks to see us up to 200 as we ended up scoring at just under six runs per over.

With the ball Ayush opened the bowling and over his two spells took three excellent wickets.  ET also bowled a very tidy five over spell and also picked up a wicket.

However, it was Mike Freeman who captured the captains vote as he scored another half century for the Club.  After starting slowly he picked up the run rate and hit two huge sixes and was out caught on the deep mid-wicket boundary in trying to treat the watching fans to another big shot.

As per normal 'Big Mike' wins top of the range male grooming products.

On a separate note a huge thank you goes to Nick who scored our entire innings, in the book and on the electronic score board, on Sunday and to the standing umpires as well.

Even if players are not asked by the captain to fulfill these duties most of us have played the game long enough to know that rotation needs to happen on a regular basis to ensure that the same players are not undertaking these duties all of the time/game.  Please volunteer to take on these duties whenever you are not reading yourself to bat.
