Vs Kimpton CC

Cricket is finally back and despite a heavy defeat where most of the Rosaneri performances showed that the players were very under cooked there were still a couple of notable performances.

Dave B. showed how to bat when facing accurate bowling in making an excellent 35, whilst wickets were tumbling around him.  Dan and Sinders bowled very well in short spells and there were encouraging debuts by Paul Crego and Alex.

However, one players' all round performance stood out.  Hamza Shaikh bowled a very good 6 overs on the bounce to claim 1-33.  He also took his first RCC catch and showed his explosive batting in a brief 9 ball cameo when smashing 15 runs which included a huge six into a flock of grazing sheep in the field next to the ground.

As per normal Hamza wins top of the range shower products.

A special mention must also go to Mr. Bell.  Who on the penultimate ball of the Kimpton innings, when the batsmen were attempting to steal a run to him, hit both sets of stumps one after the other when securing an individually created run out.
