St. John's are very much like ourselves and describe themselves as "a social cricket team of all ages and shapes, who often enjoy a bit of pub food and a pint and occasionally play a few 20 over & 40 over matches during the summer, along with net session during the winter".  A quote that could very well be about us!

So with Skipper Jim leading us, with what could be between 9 and 13 players, into the breach this Sunday we are very much looking forward to a close hard fought but extremely friendly overs contest.

Sinders, and mate Dan B as well as Robert and father The Terminator come in for there first appearances of the season and we have a well balanced team who if we were to be victorious today would create history by opening the season with four successive victories.

Players are requested to be at Sunday's venue;London Colney CC, Green Street, Shenley, Hertfordshire, WD7 9BD (closest post code) for 1:30 pm sharp for a 2:00 pm start.

Further directions to the ground are as follows; from the M25 Junction 22, take the B556 (Bell Lane). At the roundabout, turn left into the village. At third roundabout turn right and the ground is 300 yards on right.
