The man of the match award for the contest against Farnham Cricket Club has been decided after the votes were counted and then recounted.

Three players were neck and neck with one remaining vote to be cast. The individual who had not responded was chased and his vote settled the outcome. The winner can now be declared as Sean Adamson.

Sean was called up for the match at very short notice, and although he had played cricket in the past he had been away from the game for over 6 years. However, Sean proved to be the man for a crisis and batted heroically for 2 hours to steady the sinking Rosaneri ship.

Farnham had their collective tails up and Sean saw off bowler after bowler with a compact defensive stroke to dampen the home spirits.

Sean wins a matching Adidas shower gel and deodorant.
