This weeks man of the match award was a very close run thing with three players in contention, all of which would have been worthy winners.
First in the reckoning was Taimoor whose tremendous bowling spells, safe fielding and T20 batting saw him pick up a good few votes.
Next up was Daz for his wicket keeping, including a catch and a top score of 58.
However, this weeks Man of the Match goes to Robert Freeman.
Robert bowled and fielding excellently and was unlucky not to pick up a few wickets but what really resonated with the Rosaneri faithful was when he walked after getting a feather edge behind when batting.
In a era when youngsters are told not to walk but wait for the umpire to make a decision Robert, who is only thirteen, upheld the spirit of the game by immediately walking. And in doing so earned the respect of all of the adults on both sides.
Well done young man.
As per normal Robert wins top of the range shower products (sponsored by Lucozade Sport the unofficial pre-match drinks sponsor of Rosaneri CC, which were very much needed in the away dressing room this week because of the heat).
