We all know that time is precious especially with work and family commitments.
We also know that a cricket club cannot run without the numbers required to field a team each weekend.
Over the last few years we have seen some of our regular playing members availability dramatically decline or even become non-existent. As the squad has grown older long term injuries have also started to take their toll on availability.
However, we have also been lucky that some great new personalities have been introduced into the club and taken up the reign of keeping the Rosaneri brand alive.
But finding eleven players to represent the club each week is becoming harder and harder and our pool of regular playing members is forever diminishing.
Our club needs you!
For either our existing members to play as much as you can, or to spread the word about Rosaneri CC, or to encourage new membership or even better to bring friends, colleagues, family members along to play.
We do not charge a membership fee, we don't need 100% availability from a player but we do need help on the availability side so that we can continue.
For those potential new players visiting the website for the first time and wish to know a bit more about who we are:
We play non-league Sunday social cricket at some of the nicest grounds in and around Hertfordshire, Essex and NE London and as a wandering side we live on our reputation. We play the game in the right spirit and win, lose or draw we always have a good time and ensure that every team member has the opportunity to fully participate in games so that you are keen to come back and participate in the 'Rosaneri' experience again and again.
We do not charge an annual membership fee and our match fees are £10 for adults and £5 for scholars/unwaged. Which after costs (teas, match ball, Club caps - which are awarded after your second game, etc) goes back into the players post match drinking kitty and your first game of your RCC career is always free!
Please get in touch via admin@rosanericricket.co.uk if you would like to come and have a game.
