Food arrangements changed
Food arrangements have now changed for our trip to The Cotswolds.
The arrangements now take on a much more structured approach.
Upon arrival we will receive a cup of tea/coffee and something to keep the hunger pains at bay until lunch time.
Lunch will be taken after the first completed innings, and will take the form of an unlimited barbecue featuring locally sourced meat products.
Tea will be taken after the third innings and will now be a traditional Cotswolds cricket tea in the shape of sandwiches and cakes.
All this will be provided in the one off match fee of £15 per player. The match fee not only includes food, but also includes pitch hire and a decent match ball.
Players who are passengers will also be expected to contribute to their drivers fuel bill.
Everything is in place, so it just up to us to do the business on the pitch. One thing is for certain though, we have the personnel to do the business with the food off the pitch !
