Vs Blakesware CC

So this weeks man of the match winner experienced highs and lows all in one day.

Debutant Samir Mohammed polled the most votes on what was an eventful afternoon's cricket for him.

After a measured start Samir, after a quick word in his ear from the skipper, cut loose and smashed the Blakesware bowlers to all parts.  Samir retired on 77* after hitting a record equaling seven sixes in one Rosaneri innings.  The residents of Widford even had to be told to stay indoors and lock the windows as big booming boundaries where struck out of the ground and into the road!

However, in what has become known in Rosaneri circles as 'Cratergate', Samir unfortunately stumbled down one of the guy rope holes and damaged his ankle ligaments and ended the day on crutches!

All of us wish him a speedy recovery and hopefully he will be back in the 'Pink and Black' very soon and able to pick up his top of the range shower products.
