Cotswolds hangs in the balance

Rosaneri cricket club has been plunged into chaos by learning that The Cotswolds match is now being described as 50/50 at best !

The club had contact with the opposition Captain within the last 24 hours and learned that the Eastnor Castle pitch currently lies underwater. The worst of the rain and subsequent flooding now seems to be over, but the water has still not totally drained from the surface.

Every effort is being made by the groundsman to get the pitch ready for the big clash of the summer. We are now under 2 weeks away, and any further significant rain could see the fixture be washed out.

Not only must we keep our fingers crossed for The Cotswolds clash, but we must also keep them crossed for the end of this week for our matches on Thursday and Friday evenings.

If any games are cancelled, details will be posted on the website immediately. Players should also receive a text message or phone call from a club official.
