Hoddesdon from 7pm

The Wednesday night net remains at Hoddesdon for at least another week. The session is due to commence at 7pm and will continue to at least 8.30pm.

For future weeks though it seems that the club survey has pointed towards keeping Wednesday evening, but pushing the time back as late as possible. The 9pm session at Hatfield fits the bill and the club will endeavour to secure it for next week.

A return to Hatfield means that we are totally weather proof as play moves back indoors. It also means that the light will hold to the end of the session. The only real downside is that the cost per player will have to rise to ensure that the club break even.

Hopefully the time and venue change will see numbers rise. This not only benefits the club financially, but it also helps more players get some much needed practice in.

Attending football training is not vital to making you a better player, but attending cricket nets is essential for anyone serious about improving their level of performance on the pitch.

Results have not been brilliant this season so far, so it is vital to get the practice in to ensure we turn the corner as soon as possible.
