Rosaneri Cricket Club are pleased to announce that John Shuttlewood has been successfully appointed to the club’s selection panel.

John now takes his place on the 3 man panel. The other two members of the panel are Nick Shewring and Andy Underwood.

The panel check the entire squad’s availability and then automatically select the contracted players. Any remaining places in the team will be made up after the selectors have consulted over the list of others available.

To help the selectors in their work it is advisable to let them know as early as possible your future availability. This includes holiday periods and games you would really like to be considered for.

Please remember that the selectors have a very difficult job, and often their decisions will lead to players not being selected for certain games. Although this can be heartbreaking, the decision will not have been taken lightly. All factors will be considered and if the 3 selectors cannot agree a vote will be taken.
