Vs Great Waltham CC Friendly XI
In a proper tight vote, it literally came down to the odd vote in 11, but the man of the match versus Great Waltham was The Fonz.
It was a two runner race and the unlucky loser was poor old Arthur who scored a match shaping 84 while seeing off the opening attack and setting a positive run tone.
The Steve Waugh, "You just dropped the World Cup there mate" may have been weighing on the voters minds though as his only blemish was missing the stumping of Clouty before his innings started to cause serious damage to the bowlers figures.
The Fonz had an all round great game that featured a brilliant catch to dismiss Clouty at a critical time, tight line and length bowling and then a brilliantly paced innings that pushed the pinks to the winning line.
Fonzy wins a top shower product.
