Vs Edmonton Teachers

We really are in form at the moment as on Friday night we even managed to win a T20 clash!

The Fonz and Mr Bell got things off to a lively start, but the partnership was broken slightly earlier than we would have liked. Nevertheless a good start was on the board and Darren made his way to the middle.

Darren has not been played as a batsman before and this experiment was known to have worked after only a few overs. Initially Darren did try to hit the ball too hard, but once he settled he timed to good balls and whacked the bad ones.

Others played good supporting roles, but our innings was literally the Darren show and in the 19th over the inevitable was achieved with another mighty 6! A T20 ton, well done son!

The Super 6 Cup is really hotting up and the current champion put himself right back in the picture here with some prize big hitting.

Jack added quick runs at the end to give the Pinks a formidable target.

In fairness Rosaneri took to the field with an air of "we have done enough here" and the Teachers were never really out of it, and by halfway they were only just behind the run rate with 10 wickets in hand.

This jolted Rosaneri into life and Sinders and Jack bowled 8 very good overs between them to retake control of the game. Sinders with a particularly fantastic spell.

Wickets helped and before we knew it the run rate was back up where the Rosaneri fans wanted it.

Jim took a wicket with his first ball, but then did his best to inject some late excitement by bowling a few woeful full tosses that were rightly dispatched.

The game was dead though and RCC recorded another win to keep a great little run going.
