Vs Thaxted

Rosaneri performed very well in this match and deservedly ran out as winners with good honest shifts from the batting, bowling and fielding departments.

But the stand out performance came from a Chris Gayle like Mike Freeman.

From the very first ball Mike was looking to score and had obviously adopted Mr Bell's mantra of Go Hard or Go Home! Mike certainly didn't need to go home as he crashed and smashed his way to fifty with his partner, Mr Bell, was still languashing in single figures!

The century was never in doubt, but in the end Mike ran out of fuel and departed on 111.

The Fonz and Darren quickly picked things up though and put on a late show of power to add five 6's to the total in the Super 6 Cup pot.

Tea was splendid.

Rosaneri bowling and fielding was accurate and sharp with only the odd blip.

Stephen did his usual scrooge act from the Clubhouse end and the other main bolwers all chipped in with valuable spells.

Sinders snaffled the main man and Levsy and Mr Bell then came on for late cameos to put the game to bed.

Mr Bell taking the last two wickets to leave himself on a hat trick for his next spell!
