Vs Haringey Librarians

Tyrrell - Created a new club record of 4 stumpings in one game with an exhibition of modern wicketkeeping. Then went on to start the chase single handedly with a magnificent 37. If he had of batted for 5 more overs we would have won.

Mi. Freeman - Good catch while fielding and put in a nice shift with the bat. Just starting to cut loose when getting trapped lbw.

Ebbs - Take a bow young man, this was a fantastically mature innings that nearly propelled the pinks to a famous victory. Lovely shots throughout and never looked in a moments danger until he eventually perished.

M. Cox - Good bowling yet again, but slightly under utilised in the field. Got another good start with the bat but didn't go on. It's like he goes shopping to fill a basket rather than a trolley ! The big innings is just round the corner though.

Hore - Opened the bowling with the authority and smoothness of a doorman at the Ritz, and in any other team would not have been finished at 5 overs ! Took an early risk this week with the batting and ended up rarely in the losers queue.

Nichols - 3 nice overs and a wicket, but the fielding was way too good for Sunday friendly cricket. The ground fielding was actually stunning and luckily for RCC and particularly Jim it more than made up for others rubbish fielding.

Patel - Bowled an amazingly economical 4 over stint, and then went on to accumulate loads of runs with the bat. Just fell short of getting the pinks home though in tough circumstances.

Ni. Shewring - Back to his very best with the ball and secured another 4 wickets to add to his impressive all time tally. Broke a finger while attempting a hard catch and recorded his usual cameo with the bat.

S. Shewring - Figures were ruined by Jim's drunken fielding, but did bowl well at a crucial time in the contest.

Downing - Bowled overs when the home team were looking to kick on and kept the runs down and added a brace of wickets. Just couldn't get it away when batting under intense pressure at the end.

Sames - Fielded well until injuring his knee and then became a passenger.
