Vs Hertingfordbury

Mi. Freeman - Hit a great looking shot at 92% on the perfection scale and got pouched by a great catch.

Sparrey - Played the anchor role for Rahul to express himself and worked some lovely shots around the square. Unlucky not to get a deserved fifty. Slaps was essentially Robin to Rahul's Batman role.

Rose - Got a start with the bat and played the right shot, but just didn't get enough on it. Very good in the field including a ctach to go back to the top of the Golden Fielder.

Hore - A crowd pleasing ton of the highest order with 6's peppering the Hertfordshire countryside.

Nichols - A nice little cameo with the ball, and some great fielding. But the batting misfired this week.

Sindrey - Had a go behind the stumps in the fashion of the fat kid at school giving it a go at cross country ! With practice though the signs of a good keeper were most definitely there though. Batted intelligently and finished the game in style with a massive six that would have hit the church at the other end.

M. Cox - Opened the bowling with an exhibition of line and length to record top figures. Also recorded his first "not out" by accompanying Sinders in the partnership that got us home.

Downing - Bowled well to generate 4 catchable chances that were all spilled, but did secure a wicket with one that turned to clip off peg.

Ni. Shewring - The good bowling continued from Nick and was another who generated numerous chances. On another day he could have taken a 4 fer.

S. Shewring - Mixed and matched the bowling to eventually get his reward. The Stannah chairlift incident will live in the minds of those there for a long time to come.

Ma. Freeman - Made the ball jump around early on and was actually at times too good for the batsmen.
