Vs Chesterfords

The voters have done their work and the man of the match against Chesterfords can be declared as Darren Patel.

Darren wins top of the range shower products.

The words of one voter sum things up nicely;

A few contenders...Jim, Darren and Nick!
Jim: bowled a very tidy line and length, and didn't seem fazed by the Chesterfords top order getting off to a flier. Worked well in tandem with Darren, and restricted the flow of runs to a gettable total. Also unperturbed by two sixes in one over. Batted as a superb foil to Darren, showing that class is permanent and form just temporary, and helped RCC achieve victory.

Nick: Like an old locomotive engine, took a while to rev up but after finding a nice rhythym he gave the Chesterfords batsmen plenty to think about. Great to see some confidence coming back - helped by a proper bowling spell. Great cameo with the bat that helped swing the the game back in RCC favour. Peter Snow would have had a field day!!

Darran: Fitting that Frankel was heralded as Champion of the World this week as Darran is currently the cricketing eqivalent! Each time he dons RCC colours the nation expects, and he didn't disappoint! A miserly spell of bowling was followed by a master class with the willow. Ok he was dropped early on, but boy did he make Chesterfords pay. Another 50+ score with runs all around the ground, and a joy to watch!

My MOM vote goes to Darren.
