Vs Chesterfords
Tyrrell - Batted really well until getting a wonder ball. The perfect straight six delighted the crowd and if he had of connected with the wonder ball he would have landed it in Newmarket !
Sparrey - Kept wicket with the efficiency of a German car manufacturing line and batted with zest to get the Pinks off to a good start.
Rose - Demonstrated the leadership qualities of The Special One, but also the banter qualities of a pitch side report from Chris Kamara. Unlucky to get pouched by a professional looking catch when looking set for runs.
M. Cox - The Mo Farah of the fielding world with yet another gold medal performance. Started well with the bat, but a tricky spinner took him out of a rapidly developing comfort zone.
Mi. Freeman - Boiled over in the field like a teenage boy at a Girls Aloud Hot Tub party and never really recovered.
S. Shewring - Steve is currently waiting for the Guiness Book of Records to get back to him to see if he has actually bowled the slowest delivery ever. Did bowl nicely and played a lovely cameo with the bat.
Patel - The Rosaneri management team have a touch of the Arsene Wenger's as they know they cannot hang onto a star like Darren for very much longer. Wenger normally provides his stars to rivals like Barcelona and Manchester City, but RCC will avoid selling to The Cotswolds at all costs ! Another match winning performance.
Ni. Shewring - The old Nick showed up this week with the ball as he bowled superbly and was unlucky not to take more. Nick also acted as Jim's warm up act with the bat to smash quick boundaries that allowed Jim a few overs grace to "Get in".
Downing - Bowled well apart from the odd ball and another who deserved more wickets. Took a catch of the highest order and batted very nicely to see RCC home. Still recovering though from the Naked cyclist sketch.
Ma. Freeman - As tight and aggressive when bowling as a drunk Covent Garden tramp.
Sindrey - Much calmer this week after his KP like outburst the week before, but still had enough spark to lay back the middle stump of a top order batsman.
