vs The Cotswolds

The votes have been counted and the Man of the Match against The Cotswolds can be named as Mike Freeman.

Mike set off like a train and really took the game to the opening bowlers.  So uncharacteristic was the pace of his innings it had the crowd calling for him to be sent to Stratford for a drugs test!  Or was the secret the home made chocolate cake at tea?

In fact Mike recorded the 13th highest recorded score for the Club during this match.

Other mentions/quotes from the voters included Ian for his 'keeping and Darren for his brilliant bowling and exquisite batting:

Ian for 2 fantastic catches, which swung the game back in our favour, although ultimely we didn't win;

Darren, came on to bowl with two batsmen well set and weighing in with regular runs. He made an early breakthough, bowled a tidy line and length,snaffled another couple of wickets, and was unfazed by a few hefty blows by the Colswolds middle order star. Played another stylish innings with the bat with the run rate rising, and got us back on track to chase a victory.
