Vs Eastons
Ebbs - Kept wicket superbly, then had a few overs at the end to really impress the selectors. Capped a great all round display by batting patiently until being run out.
Mi. Freeman - Left one that nipped back. Took more dives while fielding than Christiano Ronaldo during the course of La Liga !
King - Very solid batting to top score in a well managed innings. Nice little cameo with the ball as well.
Rose - Magnificent bowling figures, a catch and good runs.
Scholes - Top man for helping out. Bowled an intersting mix and batted well to take the pinks close.
Oscar - Fielded well and batted well until dad ran him out !
J. Shewring - Clever bowling, but the strop factor was never far away. Batting was reckless.
Patel - What a find for the club. Looked sharp in the field and then bowled at Test match spinners pace and turned the ball round corners ! Returned super figures with the ball, but ran himself out before getting going with the bat.
Downing - Nice little spell with the ball, but failed again with the bat by top edging a sweep.
Sindrey - Continued the steady comeback with the bowling to good effect. Capable of more with the bat though.
Ma. Freeman - Another big wicket haul and a splendid catch. Most RCC fans expected Mat to win us the game with the bat even batting at 11, but his fairytale of a season didn't continue.
