Vs Knebworth
This game can and should be summed up in just two words;
MAT FREEMAN.
But i will expand.......
Jack actually got the day off to a great start with a wicket with his very first ball, but then it was Mat who dominated proceedings with a good a display of fast bowling as you will ever see.
Mat bowled full and fast to bust toes and bust stumps. He was literally a destroyer.
Others did actually bowl well and the fielding was excellent, but ultimately Mat dismissed a great club side for under a 100 ! His final figures being 7 wickets for 5 runs.
Tea was a boyant time for the pinks, but the post tea chat with the opp slightly dampened victory thoughts as the scores on the pitch the previous day were 61 and 59 !
Bell either didn't listen or didn't care and went hard as usual to smash two 6's in a rapid 31.
Arthur and Charlie batted well, but after a mid innings wobble Paul and the chief destoyer Mat pushed the Pinks to victory.
A great win and a day to savour for all fast bowling fans.
