That's all folks !

So the 2011 season is over.

It wasn't our greatest result wise that is for sure, but it was yet another fantastic summer of adventure, banter and eating tea.

The outstanding individual has to be Mike Freeman for accumulating over 600 runs, including his first ever hundred.

It wasn't all about Mike though. We also witnessed the emergence of Cuz as a top end wicket taker and Mat Freeman turned years of hard work into silverware as he became the club's leading wicket taker.

We certainly missed Gareth and Sinders for the long periods that they were absent. Hopefully both will be back to full fitness for 2012.

Kurt set a new club record of stumpings in a season and who could forget the season long twists and turns in the Super 6 Cup. And a very well done to Mr Bell who has now completed his 3rd back to back success in this Showman's contest.

The winter may be able to engulf us, but it is not goodbye completely to cricket related activity.

The Autumn fireside fixture chat is scheduled for for a Friday in late October, early November that is still to be confirmed. We will be discussing all fixtures and the pros and cons of a rest week or two during the season. The final call on the date will be made on the forum.

Talking of which, the forum is open for business all winter long. But it is only as good as YOU make it ! Mike will soon be revealing the final tea ranking for 2011, so for that alone it is worth tuning in.

The date for the end of season meal and awards night will also be discussed on the forum over the next few weeks, and it is worth noting that we normally focus on dates in late November and early December.

The AGM will more than likely take place in January.
