Friday 4th of February 2011
Present: Mike Freeman, Jim, Cuz, Nick, Bell, Slaps, Levsy, Marcus, Bloater, Tony, Coxy, Mat.
Apologies: Sinders, Shell
Club officials: Jim and Nick re elected as joint club presidents.
Pits removed as a selector and Coxy elected. (Nick and Bloater remain as the other selectors)
Mike remains as fixture secretary.
2011 fixtures: Good work by Mike acknowledged.
Match fees: Would stay the same. (No drinks to be included at home games in future.)
Charity day: Same charity as in previous years. 31st was preferred, but later date could be used as a back up.
Procurement: Pits to remain in post.
New clothing: There was a popular opinion to order new shirts. (A full debate will take place on the forum.) It must also be reported that there has been an enquiry from a leading drinks manufacturer to sponsor the shirts.
Awards: To remain the same. A memento was discussed for those who win awards 3 years running.
Selection: Tony will remain as a super ad hoc. Mike retains his full contract. Gareth was made up to a super ad hoc in recognition for his outstanding contribution in 2010. (Selection procedure remains unaltered.)
Cotswolds selection: After much debate it was decided that the selection committee would pick the team, but outside of the normal selection rules of contracts. It was also agreed that the selection should be finalised as far in advance as possible.
