The winners

The 2010 season has now concluded and the engraver is now busy updating the club silverware with the latest roll of honour.

The Stats man is busy making the final standings charts up, but here is a summary of the winners.

Big Mike picked up the Most Runs Award following a superb summer with the blade. His performance was even more special considering that he won the Most Ducks Award last year with a record 6 ducks.

Mr Bell retained his Most 6’s Award with another week in week out all out attack on opening bowlers. Back to back wins of this award takes some doing, and no doubt the big man will be doing his best to make it 3.

Jim showed remarkable consistency to secure the Best Batting Average Award with an impressive average of 40+.

Gareth had a sensational season with the ball and deservedly landed the Most Wickets Award. Gareth hit the front within a week of the season starting, and in truth nobody got close to him.

The Best Bowling Average Award was snaffled by Nick with a whirlwind end to the season after coming back from a lengthy lay off.

The Golden Fielder was won by Mat Freeman with the decisive catch being taken in the very last game. Mat had a great season in the field and he will now have to find room on the sideboard for the famous silver salver.

Shell unfortunately picked up the Most Ducks Award with 3 ducks. He actually secured the award on count back courtesy of the fact that his 3rd duck came earliest in the season.
