The votes have been counted and verified and the man of the match against Great Canfield can be revealed as Stephen Underwood.

Stephen took a new role as a batsman due to a shoulder injury that has prevented him from bowling and he took to it like a duck to water. In fact he looked like he had been doing for years as he mixed solid defence with elegant technical stroke play. 

It was a mighty shame that he didn’t get those two extra runs to record a maiden club fifty.
