This is a catch up in man of the match awards. 

First of all we will start with the game against the Harlow Vets. 

All 11 votes were cast and 4 players received votes, but the clear winner was Mat Freeman. 

One voter made the following comment: 

My mom this week goes to Mat for his highest ever score of 42*, a wicket in his 2 over cameo with the ball, a catch and his first victory as captain. 

Other special mentions must go to the returning Nick for his great spell of bowling of 3 for 14 off of 9 overs and to Levsy for his first ever wicket and 18 runs. 

The second match we need to catch up with is the game against Enfield at Lincoln Road. 

Less voters here, but again an overwhelming winner this time in the shape of the swashbuckling Marcus Rose.

It has to be Marcus. He defended good balls, waited for the right balls and then simply smashed them to all parts. (Well mainly the leg side !) A great innings. 

Jack batted beautifully and in another game would probably have got the nod.
