Just to clear up any confusion, Rosaneri Cricket Club will not be competing in any 6 or 8 a side tournaments this summer.

We had already declined our invitation to play in the Northampton Exiles 8 a side tournament due to a lack of Bank Holiday availability, and then we received the news from Enfield Cricket Club that we had been black balled from their 6 a side tournament.

This is not bad news for the club, as it will focus our attention on proper cricket. The early season signs are good, and a first win must be just around the corner.

More fixture news is on its way, with the glamour match of the summer in The Cotswolds due to be confirmed in the next couple of days. Squad players should start to consider their preferred options in terms of whether we travel on the day, or stay overnight the previous evening.
