Tyrrell – As written in the match report Mr Bell batted like Matty Hayden in a rush to win the match. He settled any team nerves of batting on a green top by smashing even the slightest loose delivery. Took two nice catches while keeping and had an all round good day.
Joe – Fitted in well, fielded smartly and batted with style for a highly satisfactory debut.
Tim – Another Rosaneri debutant who fielded well but got a good early ball to end his batting aspirations.
A. Underwood – Looked set for a match sealing knock before the oppo skipper took a brilliant caught and bowled.
Mi. Freeman – Captained superbly well in tough and unpredictable conditions to give as many a fair go as possible. Batted with determination and in an unruffled fashion to secure the win.
Rose – Grabbed a wicket while bowling and batted with a new reserved approach to help propel Rosaneri towards the winning line.
Downing – Felt his way back somewhat with in his opening over, but things were much better by the end of a 3 over stint. Batted nicely to secure another unbeaten score.
Sindrey – Bowled well, but would have preferred to get a nice full speed and aggression spell under his belt rather than a polite 4 over ditty.
Ma. Freeman – Another who suffered from bowling with restraint under captain’s orders. Took two nice catches though to move top of the Golden Fielder competition.
G. Cox – Bowled brilliantly for a second week running to record a devastating and match winning 4 fer. In this form Gareth is a real live contender for all the bowling honours.
Mitchell – No mercy on a dodgy looking batting surface as he roared in to smash the top order and claim 3 wickets.
