The fixture list for 2010 is rapidly being prepared by Big Mike and it is now confirmed that the traditional season opener at Nazeing Common is on for Sunday the 18th of April.
This game is a real treat in terms of location and the oppo are usually perfectly matched to our standard.
We were thankful to accept the help of a late afternoon thunder storm to secure a draw in 2008, and last year we pulled off a famous victory with a super human bowling display from Paul Sindrey.
2010 will have all the ingredients to produce another classic, although it all seems a long way off at the moment as the Common is under 6 inches of snow !
But come April, the excitement and anticipation of pulling into the Nazeing car park will almost be unbearable.
