In a strange week of voting a total of nine votes were cast. Four players received nominations and one just came out on top by a single vote. 

The man who got the nod managed to pull off a unique double of securing the last two awards of the season. That man was Stephen Underwood. 

Stephen bowled a lovely spell that included a ship steadying 21 consecutive dot balls, and he then went on to weigh in with valuable runs from his number 11 slot to ensure that the pinks were not bowled out for under the dreaded ton all season long.
