Good morning sports fans and welcome to a rare Saturday match. 

Today we are at home and take on Botany Bay. The format of the contest will be decided by the captains and proceedings will get underway at 1pm. 

We are also pleased to report that we have a professional umpire in the shape of ECB man Paul Nicholls. 

Players are advised to meet from 12.15pm. 

Our earlier meeting in the year resulted in one of Rosaneri’s most comprehensive victories. The nine wicket massacre featured a memorable ton form Mr Bell combined with some great bowling and fielding. 

Traditionally Botany Bay seem to name stronger teams away to Rosaneri than when they play at home, so we could be in for a tougher clash this time round. 

The weather reports look mixed and we are very likely to see rain at some point.
