Into the unknown once again
Good morning sports fans and welcome to another new fixture (inside the M25 so no Bloater this weekend) for this season.
Today we take on Holtwhites Trinibis Sunday 2nd XI at the Holtwhites Sports & Social Club (the old BRSA sports ground to players of my generation!) off of Kirkland Drive in Enfield.
Everything points to a tough game this afternoon so players will need to bring their 'A' game to the party today.
Especially as Jim has been struck down by a stomach bug and is rated very doubtful. The chief selector was working long into the night to secure another player to take his place just in case.
John will skipper the side today and will be looking for his troops to secure his first win as captain this season.
The captains will decide the format of the game at the toss and the game is due to start at 2pm.
Players are expected to arrive no later than 1:20pm.
