Youth Vs Experience

Good morning sports fans and welcome to one of our favourite fixtures.

It is the long awaited trip to take on the Harlow Vets in what promises to be a step back in time before run rates were invented and where the pace of play is usually Test match like.

Historically the Vets lead 2-0 and they have always managed to teach the young pups a few new tricks. One of those games went right to the wire and could have gone either way until Paul Sindrey fell as the 10th wicket.

In team news for the Pinks a strong team is named as we look to reduce the series deficit.

Pits is welcomed back to the side after spending 7 weeks touring round the TK Maxx empire of the south of England. His summer shopping tour is now complete and he has been released to pick up his cricket season again. He was in great form with the ball when he last bowled, but that was a long time ago and he may well require a few deliveries to blow the cobwebs off.

The game is in the usual location and is due to commence at 2pm. The vets usually prefer a timed format, but this will be confirmed at the toss.

Players are advised to arrive at the ground for 1.15pm. The sat nav reference is CM19 5 BE.
