A first for the club

The man of the match votes for the contest against The Cotswolds have been counted and verified and the winner can be declared as Ian Cully.

It was a tight week in the voting with 5 individuals recording votes which was probably to be expected with such a great team display.

We had a first this week though with a girl recording a vote ! That vote went to Nicola Cox for a great day of food. We may have to consider a new catch phrase of “Cook nice, smell nice.”

Ian certainly deserved his reward by being the first wicket keeper in the club’s history not to concede a bye and to take a catch and two run outs in the same game.

Ian has played nice, so now he will smell nice when he receives his top quality shower products.
