Practice steps up a level from next Wednesday as Rosaneri Cricket Club have now secured The ECB approved centre of cricketing excellence at Hatfield University for the next 3 weeks.
The great advantage is that the surface gives a true bounce and allows bowlers to use real balls. This will really focus the session and be the best possible preparation before the opening game. The other great advantage is that the session cannot be cancelled due to bad weather as would happen with outside nets.
We will keep our usual time slot of 9-10pm and we have booked two lanes. The first session starts on Wednesday the 25th of April.
The cost of each session will remain at £5, and there is no need for pre pay this time around. However, we do need a turn out of at least 8 players to break even.
If you have not played at Hatfield yet, I would strongly urge you to make the effort as the facilities are truly breath taking. Not only do we get top quality cricketing facilities, but we also get the use of a relaxing plasma screened coffee bar.
