Another busy selection week. It has reached the stage where we are begging people to play rather than the other way around!

An unexpected combination of holidays, childcare, family birthdays and even the BBC coverage of Wimbledon has decimated the ranks of the contracts and ad hocs alike!

The team is almost there but we are still waiting for the last pieces of the jigsaw. The team will be named by close of play Thursday.

One thing we do know is that Shel will captain the side.

We are also missing our regular wicketkeeper this week. Shel is obviously the logical replacement having donned the gloves on several previous occassions.

The forecast is good so bring it on!
